As part of your course, we will take you round Valencia's historic centre, guided by a proffessional who will show you the best corners of the city. We will provide you free tickets to go to the IVAM, MUVIM museums and the Botanical Gardens.
We also organise after school activities. These are not included in the course fee, if you are interested in taking part in any of them, please ask our team for prices and availabilities. Some of this activities are as follows:
Oceanografic, Hemisferic, Boat trip on the Natural Park Albufera (with the traditional paella lunch at El Palmar), Canoeing at Embalse de Benageber with a traditional Valencian dishes, mountain bike tours at the El Garby (one of the most panoramics points of Valencia area) with a picnic lunch. Visits to Natural Historic Museum, Ceramic Museum, Dos Aguas Palace and Valencian House of Parlament.
We will also enjoy a few nights out to try the fantastic Spanish tapas and the lively and busy nights of Valencia.
Valencians speak two languages: Spanish and Valenciano (local language). In the city you will mainly hear Spanish, but all sign post are in both languages. Meal times are very different from the rest of Europe, Breakfast run from 7.30 to 10.00 in the morning, Lunch goes from 14.00 to 15.30 in the afternoon, and dinner from 21.00 to 23.00 at night.
Shopping centres are open from 10.00 am to 21.00, but you will find that the rest fo shops in the city centre close for lunch for 2 and a half hours. Sundays shops are closed everywhere in Spain.
Valencia is famous for its climate, it is one of the healthiest in Europe. With an average temperature of 17C (annual average), mild winters and pleasant summers. Fantatic for walks by the seaside even in the Winter months.
Tips at the bars and restaurants are included in the price, nevertheless if you are very happy with the service provided, tips are very welcome.
